“Fetes de Bayonne” is a golf tournament and festival held to celebrate the life of Pierre Agnes, Quiksilver’s former CEO, who was lost at sea in January of 2018. The event helps to raise funds for the Boardriders Foundation, allowing the charitable arm of Boardriders, Inc., to continue its mission of supporting other like- minded initiatives focused on improving the environment, education, science, ocean protection, wellness and sustainability.

For this event, Boardriders Foundation is supporting “Sustainable Surf and Sea Trees” to further their work to protect and restore coastal blue carbon ecosystems globally. This includes restoring kelp forests in California and Australia, planting mangrove forests in Indonesia, Baja, and Kenya, and restoring coral reefs in Bali.” https://www.sustainablesurf.org

The “Fetes” will include a fun 9-hole, 4-man, 4-clubs per team, scramble golf tournament, and other games of skill and athleticism, incredible sponsor gift bag and tee prizes, and a Basque-style evening festival (spouses included), with music, drinks, food, and entertainment. Our Basque-style event featuring dress all-white casual and red is sure to be one of the most talked-about charitable events held in Orange County again this year.
